You really can't miss the Arts colony when you drive up to 2nd street from Garey Ave. going either north or south. You'll see the metal arch (pictured above right) with the cut out letters. From the south the big 'Fox Theater' sign (pictured below) on the left just before 2nd street, or the Bank of America at Mission a few blocks south and east are good landmarks. Also there's the Railroad underpass and the new Pomona Train Station just north of 2nd street. Below is the Yahoo Map of the area around Pomona showing all the freeways and major highways and streets. It is oriented so that north points toward the top of the page. Here's a few examples of driving directions.

From East of Pomona on the I-10:

Take the I-10 WEST towards LOS ANGELES.
Take the exit number 45, towards GAREY AVE./POMONA
Merge onto N ORANGE GROVE AVE.
Turn LEFT onto N GAREY AVE.
Turn RIGHT onto W 2ND ST. 0

From West of Pomona on the I-10:

Take the I-10 East.
Take the GAREY AVE. exit, exit number 46A, towards POMONA.
Turn RIGHT onto N GAREY AVE.
Turn RIGHT onto W 2ND ST.

From West of Pomona on the I-60:

Take the CA-60 WEST towards LOS ANGELES. Take the GAREY AVE. exit.
Turn RIGHT onto S GAREY AVE.
Turn LEFT onto W 3RD ST.
Turn RIGHT onto S THOMAS ST.
Turn LEFT onto W 2ND ST.

From East of Pomona on the I-60 or I-57:

Take the CA-60 EAST/POMONA Freeway towards POMONA.
Take CA-60 E/CA-57 N.
Take the CA-57 NORTH exit.
Merge onto CA-57 N.
Take the TEMPLE AVE. exit.
Turn RIGHT onto TEMPLE AVE.
Turn LEFT onto W MISSION BLVD.
Turn LEFT onto S WHITE AVE.
Turn RIGHT onto W 2ND ST.

From South of Pomona on the I-57:

Take the CA-57 NORTH towards POMONA.
Merge onto CA-57 N.
CA-57 N becomes CA-57 N/CA-60 E.
Take the CA-57 NORTH exit.
Merge onto CA-57 N.
Take the TEMPLE AVE. exit.
Turn RIGHT onto TEMPLE AVE.
Turn LEFT onto W MISSION BLVD.
